Finding this suspicious, the floor tiles were immediately broken,” a senior police officer said.

The ground was found dug up. A mobile phone,10 notes of Rs 1,000 denomination,a Samsung battery, two SIM cards and 10 grams of charas were found.

Incidentally, two days later,a head constable spotted a black Pulsar near the jail. When officials approached the two men on the bike, one of them started to run. They were later arrested and identified as Sikander and Mohit. Their bag was searched and police found a wine bottle and several packets of cigarettes in it. Police sources said the duo had come to deliver the consignment to a prisoner.
