Monika Kumari, 17, was on her way to school in Sohna on Monday when she was compelled to walk on the road because the footpath was waterlogged. Distracted by his phone, a 16-year-old boy who was allegedly driving a crane on the Sohna-Palwal road did not notice her and mowed her down.
