A day after CAG informed the Delhi High Court that the three power discoms were not cooperating with the audit, BSES discoms issued a statement saying that they were fully cooperating in the auditing process.
“We are extremely surprised at the stand taken by CAG counsel in the High Court of Delhi. BSES discoms had made a detailed entry-level presentation to senior CAG officials on February 13, 2014… They were also informed about the savings in subsidy burden to the Delhi government due to additional revenue accrued on account of reduction in losses,’’ a BSES spokesperson said.
BSES said documents of more than 10,000 pages and other data relating to the last 11 years has been already shared with the CAG team.
