Delhi wakes up to a sultry morning

The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky throughout Wednesday and light rains in some areas of the capital.

Residents of the national capital were greeted by a sultry morning with humidity levels settling at 78 per cent.

According to MeT department, minimum temperature recorded was 26.8 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average.

Humidity level recorded till 8.30 AM was 78 per cent.

The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky throughout the day and light rains in some areas of the capital in the evening.

“The sky will generally remain partly cloudy. There is possibility of light rains in evening or night today. Maximum temperature is expected to settle at 38 degrees Celsius,” an official of the department said.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 27 degrees Celsius.
