The four-year-old daughter of a government employee was allegedly raped by her teenage neighbour last evening in south Delhi’s RK Puram area.
The 13-year-old accused has been apprehended and booked under relevant sections of the POCSO Act. The boy is a resident of JJ Colony in the nearby area.
According to police, the incident took place last evening when the girl was playing outside her residence in government quarters in Sector-7 in RK Puram.

“The boy lured the girl to an isolated place on the pretext of providing her chocolates where he raped her. Hearing the girl’s cries for help, a passerby rushed to her help and nabbed the accused who was later handed over to us,” said a police official.
A case has been registered against him at RK Puram police station. He was produced before Juvenile Justice Board which sent him to remand home.
