DDA housing scheme 2024: flats available in Dwarka, Narela, Loknayakpuram and Jasola

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Tuesday launched three housing schemes catering to the needs of different sections of society. DDA is offering around 40,000 affordable homes across these three housing schemes under various categories — the High Income Group (HIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), Lower Income Group (LIG), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

Registration for all three housing schemes will start at 11 am on August 22. The flat booking for the Madhyam Vargiya Scheme and Sasta Ghar Scheme will commence on September 10 whereas aspiring homeowners can book flats from September 20 for the Dwarka Housing Scheme. While the allocation of flats under the Dwarka Housing Scheme will be done through an e-auction, a first-come-first-served (FCFS) basis allotment system will be followed for the other two schemes.

The housing body is offering 173 flats at Sectors 19B, 16B, and 14 in Dwarka under its Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024; 5,531 flats under Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme 2024 at Narela, Loknayakpuram and Jasola; and 39,573 flats as part of its Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme. The Sasta Ghar scheme will provide the lowest starting price at Rs 11.5 lakh for LIG and EWS flats.

For its 173 MIG and HIG flats built across Dwarka, DDA is setting prices starting at Rs 1.28 crore going up to Rs 1.47 crore. The HIG flats range between Rs 2.10 crore to Rs 2.28 crore. The Super HIG flats will go on sale with prices starting at Rs 2.59 crore and the penthouses will be sold for prices starting at Rs 5.19 crore.

Under the Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme, flats will be sold on an FCFS basis. As many as 89 HIG flats in Jasola will be available to potential homeowners at a price range between Rs 2.08 and Rs 2.18 crore. In Loknayakpuram, 640 MIG flats will be sold between Rs 1.18 to Rs 1.23 crore. In Narela 1,182 HIG flats will be available for sale for prices between Rs 1.4 to 1.73 crore, and 420 MIG flats will be sold for between Rs 85 to 87 lakh, after a 15 per cent discount for the general public. They will be sold for a range between Rs 75 to 77 lakh after a 25 per cent discount for government employees.

The booking amounts for its 2-BHK MIG flats will be Rs 10 lakh, Rs 15 lakh for the 3-BHK HIG flats, Rs 20 lakh for 4-BHK Super HIG, and Rs 25 lakh for the 5-BHK penthouses. Under the Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme, the 5,531 flats available in Narela, Loknayakpuram, and Jasola are being offered for a booking price of Rs 50,000, Rs 4 lakh, and Rs 10 lakh for EWS, MIG, and HIG respectively.

Meanwhile, under the Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme, the booking amount for the EWS flats is Rs 50,000 and the same for the LIG flats is Rs 1 lakh.

The decision to launch these schemes was made during a key DDA meeting chaired by Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena on August 6.
