Diplomacy presented itself through culture as French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron visited a carefully curated landscape of ideas and conversations at the French Institute in India (IFI) on Wednesday.

At the heart of the show, in the garden, stood the immersive Charpai Project, a canopy of hand-woven panels crafted by traditional artisans from recycled food wrappers and ropes, alongside panels made from upcycled tetra paks mounted on scaffolding, in a design created by Ayush Kasliwal and Ramayudh Sahu in collaboration with Goji.
