The Gurgaon police on Monday recovered two of the three bullets that reportedly killed CJM Ravneet Gargs wife,Geetanjali,from the crime scene at a park in Police lines,Gurgaon.
Geetanjali was found dead at the park on the evening of July 17. Based on Geetanjalis brothers statement an FIR was filed in the case and the CJM was questioned on Sunday.
A Special Investigation Team,constituted to probe the killing,recovered the bullets from the park. They were found in the area near the bushes where Geetanjalis body was found,Gurgaon Police Commissioner Alok Mittal said.
Police said the CJMs father K K Garg was also questioned and his mother,Rachna Garg has asked to join the investigation.
Meanwhile,Geetanjalis brother Pradeep Agrawal filed a supplementary complaint Sunday,alleging that there were demands for dowry and money to pay the school fees of the CJMs daughters.
In his complaint,Pradeep said,After the post-mortem (examination),all the three doctors had disclosed,in the presence of me,Ravneet (Garg) (and) others officers,that it is a case of murder since there are three gun-shot injuries and one head injury which could be caused by some blunt weapon…
Pradeep also requested police to question two of CJMs cousins,who were in the house when Geetanjali had gone missing.
