An all-round performance by Nitish Rana (137n.o & 4/33) and a three wicket haul by Ramesh Prasad (3/27) enabled LB Shastri Cricket Club beat Swami Shardanand College by 43 runs to enter the final of the 23rd All-India Om Nath Sood Memorial cricket tournament. In the other semi-final,ONGC beat Kishanganj Gymkhana by 24 runs to register their place in the final.

Goel elected as DBSA president

In the elections conducted by the Delhi Billiards and Snooker Association,Vijay Goel has been elected as the president while Ravi Tandon has been elected as the Secretary for a term of three years. The elections were held in the presence of Bala Subramanium,Secretary of the BSFI.

Five wicket haul by Nipun Gaund (5/40),half-centuries by Suryakant Chauhan (97) and Jagrit Sehgal (92) helped Vikaspuri Cricket Coaching Centre beat Vidya Jain Academy by 139 runs to lift the Harry Cricket Tournament title.
