Top seed,Delhis Kunal Anand reached the quarterfinals of the UP Open in Noida after beating Saran Reddy 6-1 7-5. He will next face Tamil Nadus Rishab Dev Ram who has played three setters in both his previous rounds. Yannick Nelord spoilt the anticipated match-up of the Sood twins in another quarterfinal as he beat sixth seed Lakshit Sood and will now face Chandril Sood. Eighth seed Yogesh Phogat will meet fourth seed Vinod Sridhar and seventh seed Vinod Gowda will meet second seed Siddharth Rawat in the other quarterfinals.
MRV win title
Good bowling by Brijesh Solanki (3/16) and Ankit Singh (3/18) helped MRV Academy Dwarka beat Sonnet Club by 5 wickets and lift 5th Krishan Sehwag memorial U-12 cricket tournament title. Ayush Badoni who has hit three centuries in a row for Sonnet was awarded best batsman and Pradeep Saklani won best bowler.
