CMs former drivers charged with molesting 22-year-old woman
New Delhi: A court in the Tis Hazari Courts Complex on Thursday framed charges against two former drivers of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshits pilot car for allegedly misbehaving with and outraging the modesty of a 22-year-old woman. Finding prima facie evidence against the accused,who were sacked following their arrest in June,Metropolitan Magistrate Navita Kumari Bagha said they would be tried for the offences. The accused have been identified as Jagdish Kumar Vaishist and Rajesh Kumar,both aged 35.
Ban on banks,hospitals: Noida calls meeting
Noida: Looking for alternative commercial spaces for banks,nursing homes and other businesses currently operating out of residential areas in Noida,Noida Authority has called a meeting of all project engineers on Friday to find a solution. The Authority plans to ask the engineers for information on how much commercial space is available. Recently,the Supreme Court had directed all commercial activities functioning out of residential plots in Noida to vacate the premises within two months for violating norms of mixed land use according to the Noida Master Plan.

Nursery admission forms from Jan 2
New Delhi: The Delhi government on Thursday said it will issue guidelines for the enrolment process for nursery admissions next week,and the entire exercise is likely to be completed by March 31. The admission forms would be issued between January 2 and January 16,said Arvinder Singh Lovely,Delhis Education Minister.
