NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old man,identified as Puneet,was stabbed to death allegedly by his friend on Monday night in Central Delhi. The incident occurred when the victim visited his friends house for the recovery of a loan. Police have also arrested three juveniles for the murder and claimed to have solved the case within a day of the incident.

Three critically injured in car crash

NEW DELHI: Three men were critically injured on Tuesday evening when a Hyundai Verna car rammed their Maruti Esteem on Ashoka Road. Police are on the lookout for Capt Balraj (50),the driver of the Verna,who fled the scene. The injured Alok,Naveen and Raj are being treated at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

NEW DELHI: Lieutenant-Governor Tejendra Khanna and Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit wished people a happy Diwali on Tuesday and exhorted citizens not to burst firecrackers,which lead to increase in pollution level.
