The Delhi University on Tuesday announced a detailed admission schedule for its four-year under-graduate courses.
The registration process continue for two weeks, with sale of forms starting from June 5 and continuing till June 19,a notification from Dean of Students Welfare Office said.
All applicants will be required to fill a common pre-admission (OMR) form, which will be available online as well as over the counter. These forms will be sold at 18 centres across the city.
The first cut-off list will be declared at 9 am on June 27 and admission and payment of fees will continue till June 29. Depending on the availability of seats, colleges will publish the remaining four cut-off lists.
Further lists and conversions of OBC seats,if required, will be notified later along with last date of admission, the admission schedule said.
Students seeking admission in morning colleges will have to deposit the fees by 1 pm,the timings for evening colleges are from 4 pm to 7 pm.
With the shift in under-graduate courses in DU from a three-year format to a four-year structure, the nomenclature of the course has also undergone changes. A student of the four-year under-graduate programme will get a Baccalaureate degree instead of a BA/BSc/BCom Honours or Programme degree.
Multiple exit options will be available to the students of four-year programme. Students can leave after second or third year as well.
University officials said there are plans of decentralising admissions of SC/ST and PWD (people with disability) students.
Till now, students seeking admission under these categories were allotted colleges by the university. However, this year, colleges might take out separate cut-off lists for these categories.
