CDR case: 4 policemen denied bail

Case was reported earlier this year after attempts were made to access the CDRs of BJP leader Arun Jaitley.

Four police officers arrested last week for allegedly accessing the call detail records of various persons illegally were denied bail by a city court on Wednesday.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Gopal Das,Head Constable Harish Singh Negi,Constable Harish Kumar,Home Guard Mehraj Saife and private detectives Puneet Verma and Alok Gupta were arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell in connection with the illegal accessing of CDRs of 52 persons including politicians,bureaucrats,corporate heads and journalists.
