Car hits divider in Noida, man on back seat dies, 2 injured

One person died and two, including a woman, suffered serious injuries after their car collided with a divider in Noida on Monday. The accident took place at around 3am, near Mayur roundabout in Sector-126 police station area.

The person who died, has been identified as Tushar Chaudhary, a resident of Lucknow and an employee of an insurance company in Delhi.

Shubham, a resident of Agra, and Sagorika, a resident of Greater Noida and cousin of the deceased, are critically injured and are being treated in the Jaypee Hospital. One of them is in the ICU.

Police said that three of them, who were out for dinner, were searching for a place to eat. When they reached near Mayur roundabout, the car went out of control, bounced off the pavement and hit the roof of a nearby public bathroom on the roadside.
