As people objected to the post and told Kapoor that it was a morphed photograph he was commenting on, he removed it.

Delhi BJP media convenor Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Monday posted an allegedly morphed photograph of TMC MP Moon Moon Sen on Facebook, objecting to her dressing style.

The post read, “She is no ordinary woman friends she is Trinamool Congress’ respected MP Ms Moon Moon Sen ji. Kash she could be little decent if not to herself at least for the respect for the temple of democracy in Parliament of which she is a part.”

As people objected to the post and told Kapoor that it was a morphed photograph he was commenting on, he removed it.

When asked to comment on his post, Kapoor said, “I did not know that it was a morphed photograph. People told me about it and I removed it.”

“It is a private space. I put it and later removed it. It was my wish. We also deserve some privacy,” he said.

Kapoor’s post has also offended some party leaders. “We are advocating respect for women but if post-holders in the party make such comments — whether a photograph is morphed or not — then it will dent the party’s image. We are responsible party workers and we should act like one,” a senior party leader said.

Sen could not be contacted despite repeated attempts.
