Its been a while since Emraan Hashmi has made any news on the big screen, but he says hes been lying low, deliberately. Hashmi,it seems,is strategising on reviving his career and moving away from playing the hopelessly romantic lover in small-budget films. Tum Mile, now ready for release, revolves around Mumbais 2005 floods and Hashmi hopes it might just be the film to thrust him back into the limelight. He plays a struggling artist who finds himself stranded with a complete stranger in the rain. Its time I did something different though most of my films have done well. No,theres no kissing in this movie, Hashmi answered curtly when asked predictable questions about his serial kisser tag. For now at least,he has enough to keep himself occupied the upcoming projects include Raftaar: 24×7 and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai in which he portrays a TV news presenter and Dawood Ibrahim respectively. If nothing else, count on Hashmis lucky charm,of hit songs even in flop movies.
