US citizen dies in Paharganj hotel
NEW DELHI: A 32-year-old US national died in mysterious circumstances at a hotel in Paharganj,Central Delhi,on Monday morning. Police said the foreigner,identified as Reynold,was rushed to Ganga Ram Hospital,where he was declared dead on arrival. The cause of death is not known yet. The victim had come to India on September 16,and was staying at White Globe Hotel in Paharganj. We have recovered bottles of liquor from his room, a senior police officer said.
ATM machine robbed,police suspect guard
NEW DELHI: A security guard allegedly stole an unknown amount of money from an ATM in Northwest Delhi on Monday evening. According to police,the incident occurred at the Punjab National Bank ATM in Mukherjee Nagar,Northwest Delhi. The incident came to light when the employees of the company responsible for putting money in the ATM found that it was tampered with, a police officer said. The employees immediately informed the police,he added. It was discovered that the guard appointed to guard the machine was absconding.
