Gurgaon: The recent rape of a 23-year-old girl who was picked from near Sahara mall has led to five pub owners in the mall constituting a five-member committee to oversee things and ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the vicinity. The committee will coordinate with mall management and police to make the area more secure.

Dumper loses control,rams 5 vehicles,injures 1

Gurgaon: A dumper coming at high speed lost control and rammed five vehicles near the Hero Honda Chowk on Wednesday. According to police,the dumper was coming at a high speed. Though the driver tried applying brakes when he reached the Chowk,it did not work and he rammed 5 vehicles. One person was injured in the incident. The driver of dumper fled the spot. “We are on the look-out for the driver,” said a police officer.

MCD engineer assault: HC pulls up Delhi police

New Delhi: With the Delhi Police yet to make a headway in the case of an assault on an MCD engineer in Central Delhi last month,the Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the police to carry out probe in “all seriousness” to ensure guilty are brought to book. The bench also directed the MCD to provide its assistance in the investigation.
