Allegations against former Delhi secy false: Panchshila Club

The club’s managing committee, in a letter to Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma, urged police “to take appropriate and strict action against the complainant.and chairman of DCW Swati Maliwal”.

Five days after a notice was issued to Panchshila Club by Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) — after a member of the club alleged that her and her husband’s membership was suspended following her complaint to the management against club president and former Delhi Secretary Omesh Saigal — the club has claimed that the allegations against Saigal were false. The club’s managing committee, in a letter to Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma, urged police “to take appropriate and strict action against the complainant.and chairman of DCW Swati Maliwal”.

Written by three women managing committee members of the Panchshila Co-operative House Building Society Limited, the letter asked Verma to “cancel” an FIR registered against Saigal on the basis of “a false complaint”.
