YouTuber Ajeet Bharti booked for ‘derogatory remarks’ against MP Chandra Shekhar Aazad
The case follows an Azad Samaj Party complaint alleging Bharti made caste-based and derogatory remarks against the Nagina MP on his YouTube show.

The Delhi Police has booked YouTuber Ajeet Bharti for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Nagina MP Chandra Shekhar Aazad during his show — Andolan Hatao Nautanki — on his YouTube channel.
He was reportedly discussing the issue of reservation and the protests at Jantar Mantar.
The case was registered at North Avenue Police Station on a complaint lodged by the Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) on Sunday. Chandra Shekhar is president of the party and founder of the Bhim Army.
According to the FIR, Bharti allegedly used his public digital-media platform to publish content in which he repeatedly made “caste-based, abusive, humiliating, sexually degrading and potentially inflammatory statements” about the MP and Dr B R Ambedkar.
The screenshot annexed to the complaint identifies the accused as Ajeet Bharti (@ajeetbharti) and displays a verified X account.
The video and screenshot also identify the programme as SB79: Reservation Hatao Andolan Nautanki & More | Saptahik Bakaiti. They display the date and time as August 22, 2026, at 10:11 pm, with approximately 23,100 views.
The complaint stated that the video and screenshot have been submitted as prima facie electronic evidence identifying the account and establishing the public circulation of the material.

It further requested the investigating agency to obtain the original platform records, URL/permalink, account information, upload data, metadata, views, comments, reposts and other relevant information directly from the platform concerned.
According to the complaint, the impugned recording contains a continuous sequence of statements concerning caste, reservation, marriage and members of Scheduled Caste communities. It alleges that the accused repeatedly invoked caste identity in a derogatory and humiliating context.
Police said Bharti has been booked under sections of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, as well as provisions relating to promoting enmity between different groups, criminal intimidation, and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act.
A police officer said an investigation has been initiated and that Bharti may be called for questioning soon.
