Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is set to kick off a ‘DUSU in Campus’ campaign on Monday.
Under this campaign, Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) office bearers will visit college campuses in two groups, meet students, and try to solve their problems. They will also inform students about college campus activism and current plans of DUSU, as per a statement by the ABVP.
ABVP Delhi state minister Harsh Atri said, through the ‘DUSU in Campus’ campaign, students will be able to know about the work done during the tenure of the ABVP-led Delhi University Students’ Union. He added that this will prove to be an effective campaign to know the problems faced by new and existing students. Further, Atri said, through this campaign it will also be possible to reach out to a large number of students.
The statement also said “Along with the admission of new students, the ‘DUSU in Campus’ campaign is being run to listen to the problems faced by the students and find solutions for them. Along with this, the main objective of this campaign is to make students aware about campus activism so that students can come forward and provide their capable leadership in the coming elections.”
DUSU President Akshit Dahiya said that the ‘DUSU in Campus’ campaign will run in two groups. DUSU President will be in the first group and Vice President and Joint Secretary will be in the second group. They will visit college campuses from August 21 to August 29 and meet the students.
