4 minors held for sexually assaulting schoolmate for over 2 months: Cops

Four minors were apprehended for allegedly sexually assaulting a fellow student at a government school for over two months in Northwest Delhi, said police. The case, the police said, came to light after a video of the alleged assault reached the principal.

“The victim was formally examined in the presence of his parents who alleged that he was subjected to repeated sexual assault over a period of two months by a schoolmate and his friends. The victim stated that he was unable to report the incidents sooner due to threats,” a police officer said.

The accused also made multiple videos of the incident and shared them with other students. Eventually it reached the principal, the police said.
