3-hour chase, 20 police vehicles: Cops reunite parents with abducted children
The jewellery and the mobile phone, which was left in the car, were also recovered. Officials said search is on for the accused.

It was a usual hangout for a family from Delhi when the parents asked their children to wait in the car till they returned from a sweet shop at a market in Vikas Marg. When the couple returned, however, the children and the car were no longer there.
An 11-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy were kidnapped as the accused fled with the car, said police. Their mother’s phone, which was also in the car, was used by the kidnapper to call the parents and ask for ransom worth Rs 50 lakh.
Police said rescue teams used technical surveillance and chased the car along with the parents.
After three hours of chase by around 20 police vehicles, the kidnapper abandoned the vehicle and the children near Samaypur Badli, and escaped. The chase went on for 100 kilometers. The children were found with the car and were reunited with the parents, police said.
