2 dead, 2 injured in cylinder blast at factory in Northeast Delhi

DCP (Northeast) Joy Tirkey said that they received a PCR call at 3.30 pm regarding the incident. After a police and fire team reached the spot, they found that a factory was allegedly being run from a house, said police. Two persons died and two were injured allegedly after a cylinder blast inside a plastic moulding factory in Northeast Delhi’s Gokalpuri, officers said Saturday.

The DCP said, “Three persons had already been taken to the GTB Hospital and the fourth was found dead at the spot”.
Later, another person succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, said police.
