10-year-old girl raped by sister’s husband

According to police,the girl used to frequently visit her sister’s house. On Thursday evening,the girl went there but her sister wasn’t at home. Police said Tribhuvan asked the girl to wait for her sister’s return.

The victim,in her complaint to the police,said Tribhuvan raped her while she was waiting at his house.

Station House Officer of City police station Virendra said,“The accused later threatened to kill the girl if she disclosed the incident to anyone and also beat her up,after which he fled.”

When the sister returned,the girl told her of the incident,after which they called up their father and registered a complaint.

The girl was made to undergo a medical test,and police are waiting for the medical report. A hunt has been launched for the accused.
