Tamil Nadu CM Stalin to invite President Murmu for launching multi-specialty hospital in memory of Karunanidhi

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will Friday meet President Droupadi Murmu in Delhi to invite her for the inauguration of the new multi-specialty hospital on the campus of the King Institute of Preventive Medicine, Guindy.

According to a statement issued by the state government, CM Stalin would reach Delhi on Thursday evening and meet President Murmu on Friday to invite her for launching the 1000-bedded hospital built at a cost Rs 230 crore.

The seven-storey hospital was constructed as part of the 100th birth anniversary of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi.

Stalin on June 3, 2021, announced that a multi-specialty hospital would be constructed in Guindy and he laid the foundation stone for the project in March last year.
