Youth stabbed to death by 4 people,one arrested

A resident of Sector 19 was stabbed by a group of youths near Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19.

A resident of Sector 19 was stabbed by a group of youths near Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19. The deceased has been identified as Pushkar (23),a resident of sector 19. He was stabbed repeatedly by four youth,two of them students of the school where he was stabbed.

Police have registered a case on the complaint of Surinder,a resident of Panchkula,who previously resided in Sector 19,where he was student of Class X at Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19.

Surinder in his complaint said Pushkar was his neighbour when he used to stay in the sector. Surinder told the police that around 10-12 days back he had a fight with a couple of youth who study in the same school in Class XI and XII,residents of Sector 30 and Sector 26.

On Monday,around 11 am,the duo along with two outsiders caught Surinder outside the school,but he managed to flee from the spot. He met Phushkar on the way,who went back with him to settle the issue.

Pushkar was repeatedly stabbed on his head,chest and back by the four people Surinder informed Pushkar’s brother Kundan about the incident,but by the time they reached the spot,the assailants had fled. Pushkar was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital Sector 32. He succumbed to injuries around 5.30 pm.

The police have registered a case of murder against four youth. One of the accused was arrested by the police. Further investigations are under way in the case.
