The written examination for the recruitment of 44 posts of assistant sub inspectors (Executive cadre) will be held on Sunday at 27 centres in Chandigarh.
Police also said that detailed security arrangements will be made whereby proper frisking, searching and biometric capturing of fingerprint of candidates will be ensured. Further, CCTV cameras and jammers have been installed at each centre.
As many as 54 special barriers will be laid around centres to prevent use of any illegal means during the conduct of examination. Two barriers will be installed in every centre, which will be within 100-metre radius and PCRs will also tasked for patrolling.
Flying Squads will be constituted to conduct surprise check at centres. More than 600 police officials, which includes 11 DSPs and 44 inspectors including 16 SHOs and other rank officials, will be deployed on the day of the examination.
The reporting time for the examination is at 10 am and admit cards are being issued for the same.
