Winter Session of Assembly from Dec 6 at Dharamsala

The Cabinet decided to grant benefit of land for building houses in rural and urban areas. Two biswas of land can now be allotted in rural areas and one biswa in the urban areas for construction of houses. The eligible citizens will include those who are likely to inherit less than the above limit of land from their ancestors,while their father is living.

The Cabinet approved amendment in the Himachal Pradesh Social Security (Pension/Allowances) Rules 2010,enhancing the total income of the beneficiary from all sources from Rs 17,000 to Rs 24,000. It also gave nod to amendment in the Himachal Pradesh Apartment and Property Regulation Act 2005 to make it more transparent and pragmatic for effective implementation.
