‘UPA govt has given citizens Right to Health and Home’
He appealed to the people to vote for Bansal keeping in mind the future.
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday said Congress candidate Pawan Kumar Bansal can take city to the international level. Addressing a rally in Sector 56 he also attacked the opposition parties saying their candidates were parachute candidates who do not know about the sectors, so how would they know the problems.
“We have the best connectivity as far as trains are concerned and airport is also being upgraded. This is the first smart city of India,” he said.
He added that the UPA government has given several rights to the people through its policies, most important of which were Right to Health and Home. He said he has a special bonding with Chandigarh as he has studied here, adding that it was only Bansal who knows about progress.
He appealed to the people to vote for Bansal keeping in mind the future. He also addressed a rally in Maloya.
Bansal said Chandigarh has set an example as far as development is concerned and also slum rehabilitation, which promises homes to 60,000 people. He said the outsiders will not be able to meet any promises when most of the time they will be in Mumbai.
President of Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee B B Bahl said Bansal had done what no one can do for the city and people can see the development and that is the reason why he has been elected four times as MP.
