After the success of the second edition of Chandigarh Cinema Festival,which was held in August this year,the Chandigarh Creative Cinema Circle (4C) is back with the Sunday with Filmmaker screenings. This time,4C has invited documentary filmmaker Sanjay Maharishi,whose love affair with camera began as a child when his father gifted him a Minolta camera. Instantly drawn to it,Maharishi went on to document theatre performances. He also started the Travelling Documentary,an initiative in collaboration with United Nations. This Sunday,three of his films will be screened My Village is Theatre,My name is Habib,The Making of Tamasha and name of the third film will be disclosed at the venue. Gaon Ka Naam Theatre,Mor Naam Habib (My Village is Theatre,My name is Habib),focuses on the era of acclaimed theatre director Habib Tanvir. In The Making of a Tamasha,Maharishi takes us through the nuts and bolts of tamasha performances.
