Sec-34 ground auctioned for Rs 11.31 lakh

The previous auction failed as Roop Kishore,a bidder from Meerut,did not pay the requisite amount after successfully bidding for the site.

Thus,the site had to be re-auctioned.

Meanwhile,the Circus Ground in Sector 17 was auctioned for Rs 1.50 lakh against the reserve price of Rs 1.25 lakh.

Both the parties have deposited 25 per cent of the bid money at the fall of the hammer. A total of eight bidders took part in the auction.

The auction of both the grounds was held under the supervision of Joint Commissioner T P S Phoolka.

A truck parking area in Sector 26 has also been auctioned to Niab Singh for Rs 61.75 lakh against the reserve price of Rs 48.15 lakh.
