Punjab Police cancel leaves for all personnel after Operation Sindoor

This decision comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’, a military strike targeting terror sites in Pakistan’s Punjab and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.

“Additional checkpoints have been set up in border districts to keep a check on all activities on the second line of defence,” said a senior officer, adding that civil defence preparedness has been enhanced.
