Punjab minister Harbhajan Singh ETO donates blood for Poonch attack victim in Amritsar

(Express Photos) In a humanitarian gesture that underscored the Punjab government’s outreach to border areas, cabinet minister Harbhajan Singh ETO on Saturday donated blood for a victim of recent Pakistani shelling in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir.
The minister was visiting Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar to meet the injured—Rajvansh Singh and his father Gurmeet Singh —when doctors informed him of an urgent need for blood. He volunteered on the spot.

Rajvansh Singh was to undergo surgery on Sunday. Upon hearing about the requirement, the minister donated blood to support the procedure.
Harbhajan Singh also shared his mobile number with the victims‘ family and said, “If you need anything, anytime—don’t hesitate to call me. I will be there immediately.”
