In an initiative to create awareness about Sanskrit language,a national seminar on ‘Sanskrit: Sanskriti Parampara aur Aadhunikta’ is being organised by the Sanskrit Academy,Chandigarh in collaboration with Department of Sanskrit,Panjab University (PU) on November 16 and 17.

Around 25 professors and research scholars from various universities and colleges including PU,Himachal Pradesh University (HPU),Delhi University (DU),Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU),Kolkata University,Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU),Rohtak,Kurukshetra University and Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan,Garli will participate in the seminar.

The academy has also decided to put up a separate book stall of Sanskrit books in the upcoming Chandigarh Book Fair.
