Preet Kamal Singh started the tournament on a winning note as the youngster scored a 16-0,20-0 win over Atul Yadav in match in the boys’ junior category in the Raj Kumar Babuta Prize-Money Ranking Tennis Tournament being played at St Stehpen’s School,Sector 45 on Sunday.

Singh won the first game with a margin of 16-0 before winning the second game of the match with a 20-0 margin. In another match in the same category,Pulkit ended the challenge of Udayveer with a 23-0,23-0 win while Nikhil Grover ended the challenge of Harman with a 20-0,23-0 win.

In another match in the same category,Ekansh Goyal scored a 21-0,21-0 win over Tushar Bawalia while Yishu Sharma ended the challenge of Gurpreet Singh with a 21-0,22-0 win. It was easy going for Kartik as he scored a 23-0,18-0 win over Tushar Jarwal in a match in the same category while in another encounter,Manik Aggarwal scored a 23-0,22-0 win over Namey. In another match in the same category,Falak ended the challenge of Sushil Bhardwaj with a 13-0,15-0 win while in another encounter,Rahul Sharma scored a 13-0,12-0 win over Varun Sharma. In the girls’ junior category,Tuba started on a winning note as she ended the challenge of RaManpreeta with a 19-0,19-0 win. In another match in the same category,Vishriti scored a 9-3,16-2 win over Asmitha while Nitika scored a 7-5,14-12 win over Aastha Gandhi. In another match in the same category,Nidhi Gupta scored a 13-0,20-0 win over Ashma Bansalw hile Priya Sharma ended the challenge of Manorama Multani with a 23-0,23-0 win. In another match in the same category,Gurkiran Kaur scored a 8-0,8-2 win over Amanjot Kaur while Muskan ended the challenge of Vrinda Gupta with a 17-3,6-2 win.
