Known to highlight problems and issues faced by Punjabis settled abroad,producer and director Manmohan Singh this time round touches upon relationships that revolve around the existing generation gap and culture clash among Punjabis living in the UK. “‘Munde UK De’ is a romantic comedy starring Jimmy Shergill and Neeru Bajwa,with Punjabi pop sensation Amarinder Gill making his film debut,” says Manmohan Singh,at the music release of the movie today at Hotel Piccadilly. Produced by Mukutwala Creations in association with Punj-Aab movies international,“the music is a combination of intense melody and smart electronics and is the work of Sukhshinder Shinda and Babloo Kumar. As for the singers,all of them,Amrinder Gill,Jaswinder Jassi,Sardool Sikander,Sunidhi Chauhan,Labh Janjua and Ravinder Garewal have done a remarkable job,” tells Singh,adding that we must lend an ear to,‘Ishq Ho Gaya,Kucch Bol Zubaano,Ek Kudi Utte Aaya Mera Dil’ and the title track ‘Munde UK De’.
