Passport misuse case: Arrested Russian girl brought to Ropar

She was wanted in a case relating to the arrest of German citizen Thomas Kuhn,who was arrested from Nangal last month for disguising as a saint and staying in the country without a valid passport. Timoshik will be produced in the Anandpur Sahib court by the police on Friday. According to police sources,Timoshik was tracked by her email ID.

She was living in Jaipur without a valid visa. Sources said Timoshik posed as a freelance journalist to take up accommodation on rent and claimed she was married.

During the interrogation of Kuhn,it was revealed that he was allegedly a spy and Timoshik,a travel agent,was his friend and had taken his passport. Later,it was found that the passport was misused by someone at the Indo-Nepal border and Bangalore,where Timoshik had stayed before moving to Jaipur.
