OYT scheme gets EC nod

The Election Commission of India has banned allotment of electricity connections under the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana till the model code of conduct exists.

The Election Commission of India has banned allotment of electricity connections under the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana till the model code of conduct exists.

Beside this,the ECI has given approval to OYT (own your tubewell) scheme and clearance to the Agriculture Department to organise agriculture training camps in the state. Training to BDPOs has also been allowed. The Punjab State Regulatory Commission has also received green signal for the process of the ARR (annual revenue requirement). Secretary,Higher Education,said the news of scrapping of B.Ed entrance exam was false.
