As part of its golden jubilee celebrations,the Chandigarh College of Architecture will be holding a grand session at the college courtyard today.

As part of its golden jubilee celebrations,the Chandigarh College of Architecture will be holding a grand session at the college courtyard today. While eminent speakers,including Sumit Kaur,Bhai Baldeep,Dr Gaurav Chhabra and SD Sharma,will talk on the topic “Should Chandigarh be given a heritage city status,”,professor Pushpesh Pant will take the audience through two documentaries on forts of India by city-based filmmakers,GS Channi and Gyan Dev. Titled Daulatabad and Jaisalmer Fort,these documentaries will discuss the glorious days of the historical monuments,their significance and current status.

Finally,the third session will have a classical instrumental jugalbandi,with a sitar and santoor performance by Lokesh Wahane from Ujjain,along with his daughters,Sanskrati and Prakrati.
