After acquittal of Moninder Singh Pandher in Nithari killings, son says ‘trust the law of the land’
Moninder Singh Pandher was arrested in December 2006, along with Surinder Koli, and convicted in February 2009 in the Nithari killings.

(Express file photo by Gajendra Yadav) Moments after the acquittal of Moninder Singh Pandher in the Nithari killings cases on Monday by the Allahabad High Court, his Chandigarh-based son Karan Singh Pandher said they welcome the judgement.
The Allahabad High Court acquitted Moninder Singh Pandher along with his domestic help Surinder Koli in the Nithari killings cases over lack of evidence. Pandher was acquitted in two cases and Koli in 12 of them. The two were arrested on December 29, 2006.

While talking to The Indian Express over the phone, Karan Singh Pandher said, “We have trust in the law of the land. We did not criticise anyone. We went through legal channels and the decision came in our favour. We welcome this judgement”.
