Modi equates votes for BJP with patriotism, calls Cong ‘anti-Dalit’

At a rally in Palwal, Modi said Congress’s politics is limited to false promises whereas the BJP’s politics is to put in hard work and is result-oriented and that is why the saffron party is going to come to power for a third consecutive term in the state.

Equating votes for his party with “patriotism”, PM Narendra Modi Tuesday accused the Congress of “doing new experiments to break the unity of the patriots” and said that “all those who love India will remain united and will vote for the BJP”.

At a rally in Palwal, Modi said Congress’s politics is limited to false promises whereas the BJP’s politics is to put in hard work and is result-oriented and that is why the saffron party is going to come to power for a third consecutive term in the state.

“Today the whole of Haryana has to take a pledge. All those who love India will remain united, we are one and we will vote unitedly for the country, for the future of our children, and for the safety of our daughters. We will vote for jobs without any ‘kharchi and parchi’. We will vote for new investments, and new jobs in Haryana,” he said.

He also alleged that Congress was in the clutches of urban Naxals and join hands with those who are “hell bent on defaming India and those who further our enemies’ agenda.” “This urban Naxal alliance can never see India strong. That is why they attack our Army. Our Army thrashed our enemies time and again. But the Congress royal family praised enemies,” he said.

Accusing Congress of being anti-Dalit, Modi said the Opposition party says that it will end reservation for backward classes and Dalits. “This is what they did in Karnataka. They snatched backward classes, Dalits’ reservation and distributed it among its vote bank. This is the same Congress, which converted thousands of educational institutes as minority institutes. Result – Dalits and backward classes got deprived of admissions. Reservations in recruitment also ended. Congress wants to do the same thing in Haryana. It is country’s biggest anti-Dalit party.”
