Despite his body having been recovered on Saturday evening, the mystery over Naveens death still continues. The police are waiting for the post-mortem report.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Crime) Satbir Singh said,We received a call from the local police of Tangori that four dead bodies were found floating in the canal. Clothes worn by one of the bodies matched what Naveen was wearing. A description of clothes was given on the posters which Naveens family had put up.
About 4 pm on Saturday, the UT Police received a call about the bodies. A team from the crime branch was dispatched to identify the body. Naveens younger brother Praveen accompanied the team and identified one of the four bodies as his brothers, said the DSP.

Naveen had left his residence on May 10 to visit a salon as he was to get married on May 12. But when he did not return from the salon, his family and their neighbours approached the police.
