Mauli Jagran man gets life sentence

A local court has Friday announced life imprisonment to Ravinder,a resident of Mauli Jagran who was involved in the murder of a fellow resident Vipin in 2011. The court has also fined the convict a sum of Rs 10 thousand.

Ravinder,along with three juveniles,committed the crime on February 10,2011. On Wednesday,October 17,Ravinder was held guilty for murdering Vipin.

The victim Vipin,a carpenter and native of Uttar Pradesh was stabbed by Ravinder,Ajay,Deepaka and Ravi,also residents of Mauli Jagran in the leg.

Vipin died two days after he was stabbed after which the case was converted to section 302 (punishment to murder).
