Man booked for ‘raping’ minor, sending objectionable video to kin

The Lalru police on Friday booked a man for allegedly raping a minor girl. The accused allegedly made an objectionable video of the girl and sent it to her family members.

The accused identified as Parveen Gautam has not been arrested yet.

The victim’s mother had told police that her minor daughter revealed to her that she came in contact with the accused on a social media platform.

The complainant further stated that her daughter told her that the accused had called her to Ambala on February 16, where he raped her and also made an objectionable video with her.

The complainant alleged that the accused had sent her daughter’s video to her relative.
