Man booked for abducting 18-yr-old

The Chandigarh Police today registered a case of abduction against Ajit,a resident of New Indira Colony,Manimajra. Ajit has been accused of abducting Monika,an 18-year old girl. Resident of New Darshini Bag,Manimajra,Monika had been missing since June 7. Monika is a Class 12 student. The case has been registered on the complaint of her father Balwinder Singh. The complainant has alleged that Ajit misled and abducted his daughter. An FIR on charges of abduction has been registered at the Manimajra Police Station.
