Once upon a time,Switzerland was Bollywood’s favourite location to film romantic movies. There now seems to be a shift,as filmmakers are heading to Australia. The land Down Under is gaining prominence not just a shooting destination but a central character in a film. That’s the case with the recent release From Sydney With Love. Directed and produced by Prateek Chakravarty — who is reviving his grandfather’s production house,Pramod Productions (it completes 50 years in the film industry) — the film is a campus love story. In the past,Pramod Productions has dished out memorable films like Ziddi,Dream Girl,Love in Tokyo,Shatru and Jugnu.

The weekend saw the star cast led by Karan Sagoo,Sharad Malhotra and Bidita Bag make an appearance at Panchkula’s Fame Cinemas to promote the film. “It’s a fun movie that the entire family will love to watch,” said actress Bidita Bag. A popular face in television commercials,Bag has graduated to Bollywood and stars opposite popular television actors Karan Sagoo and Sharad Malhotra. European model Evelyn Sharma is also a part of the cast. “The music is very modern and peppy. It will appeal to everyone,” said Malhotra. Composed by music director Sohail Sen and popular international DJ Brooklyn Shanti,it’s already rising the popularity charts.
