Lok Sabha polls: BJP to focus on new voters

In the run up to the Lok Sabha elections,the Bharatiya Janata Party would focus on the youth. The party has started an awareness campaign to get new voters registered and getting fake voters deleted from the electoral roll. A discussion on these and several other issues was held in a meeting of the election campaign committees of the party on Wednesday.

President of the city unit Sanjay Tandon said party was prepared for the elections. The workers would meeting city residents and propagate the party’s ideology. He directed the heads of the committees to study their respective areas and start working.

The focus of the party would be on first-time voters and that efforts would be put in the attract youths into the party fold. For this,a campaign has been started to get voters enrolled.
