Lok Sabha elections 2024: BJP fields Kangana Ranaut from Mandi
The BJP had earlier nominated Union Minister Anurag Thakur from Hamirpur and Suresh Kashyap from Shimla as its candidates.

(Photo: Kangana Ranaut/Instagram) Adding a Bollywood twist to the Lok Sabha elections in the hill state, the BJP announced Kangana Ranaut’s candidature from the Mandi parliamentary seat on Sunday evening, while nominating Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj from Kangra, thus replacing the sitting MP Kishan Kapoor.
The BJP had earlier nominated Union Minister Anurag Thakur from Hamirpur and Suresh Kashyap from Shimla as its candidates.

Kangana’s candidature did not come as a surprise to political observers. The actor, who is a self-professed fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had been hinting at a career in politics for over two years now. She was also present at the Ram temple consecration.
